Age Groups

Footprints in the Sand Daycare offers a Learning Classroom to each age group year-round.  Our themed and sensory curriculum is KidzSparks and includes Monthly themes during the school year and a Summer “Fun” Themed Curriculum.  Our focused age-appropriate learning year correlates with the Hopewell School District School year. A weekly curriculum plan is completed by each classroom and includes fine and gross motor skills.

School Age: Before and After School Care for Hopewell School District Elementary Schools kindergarten through fourth (4th) grade is offered during the school year.  Footprints in the Sand Daycare is responsible for supervising the child to the bus in the morning and meeting the bus to bring the child back into the daycare in the afternoon.  Footprints in the Sand Daycare is not responsible for a child's safety or behavior after the school bus has picked them up and is on route. The school bus driver or bus aide is responsible for the child's safety and behavior while on the bus.

Children are served breakfast in the morning and offered snack in the afternoon.  We offer care during any school closures; this includes planned school closures, snow days and emergency school closures.
